The airco well® Sensor
The specially developed 3-layer sensor technology of the airco well® sensor enables precise measurement of the air conditioning system air pollution in vehicles - simply, quickly and accurately: the measurement time is no longer than three minutes and can be carried out as part of an annual inspection.
The highly selective airco well® sensor can be used specifically to detect the volatile substances (MVOCs) formed by microorganisms, which are frequently found in the air conditioning air of vehicles.

High air conditioning load
The measured contamination value of the air inside your car is 700.
- A high value is a sign of a high microbial load in the air conditioning system.
- The microorganisms may have an adverse effect on the well-being and, possibly, also the health of the driver and passengers.
- Thorough cleaning of the air conditioning system evaporator is urgently recommended to eliminate stubborn contamination and microorganisms.
Average air conditioning load
If the measured contamination value of the air inside your car is 480.
- The corresponding value is a sign of a medium microbial load in the air conditioning system.
- The microorganisms may have an adverse effect on the well-being and, possibly, also the health of the driver and passengers.
- Thorough cleaning of the air conditioning system evaporator is recommended to eliminate stubborn contamination and microorganisms.
Low air conditioning load
If the measured contamination value of the air inside your car is 200.
- The corresponding value is a sign of a harmless microbial load in the air conditioning system.
- The microorganisms form unpleasant smells and may affect the well-being of the driver and passengers.
- Thorough cleaning of the air conditioning system evaporator is recommended at least every 24 months to eliminate contamination and microorganisms.
Triple sensor, triple first-class!
In a highly selective process, the airco well® Sensor accurately measures microbial volatile organic compounds (MVOCs) that are often present in the air of air conditioning systems in vehicles. It is therefore not comparable with other air quality sensors on the market.
