In accordance with the requirements of VDI guideline 6032, gui-lab has checked and confirmed the conformity of the cleaning method on the pollen filter box and the evaporator for airco well®.

gui-lab from Mönchengladbach in Germany is a community of environmental engineers and laboratories. The competence lies in the evaluation and verification of indoor air hygiene, environmental technology and indoor air quality.

VDI guidelines are reference for gui-lab

gui-lab tests HVAC products for manufacturers for a fee and awards them with a test mark if they are successful. For all gui-lab evaluations and tests, the technical requirements of the VDI guidelines for air conditioning are decisive. The gui-lab product tests for airco well® were carried out by VDI-certified specialist engineers. The test setup and the test methods were based on the requirements of the corresponding VDI guideline 6032 for air conditioning systems in cars.

The Association of German Engineers (German: "Verein Deutscher Ingenieure" / VDI), in association with the DIN Institute, is Germany's international technical guideline provider. The "defined state of the art" recognized in VDI guidelines secures legally binding consumer claims in Germany. VDI guidelines and DIN standards are trend-setting instruments of the Federal Republic of Germany for the application process for regulations within the European Union.

What has been tested and confirmed?

In accordance with the requirements of VDI guideline 6032, the conformity of the cleaning method on the pollen filter box and the evaporator was tested and confirmed for airco well®. That means: The combination of chemical-mechanical cleaning on both components.

In addition, the conformity of the cleaning chemicals with the requirements of VDI guideline 6032 was tested and confirmed for airco well®. That means: cleaning recipe without biocide, without odorous substances and without allergenic ingredients.

The cleaning effectiveness of the airco well® method was also tested and confirmed on the hygiene-relevant components in cars. This means: Sufficient effectiveness in reducing germs, bacteria etc. on the hygienically relevant surfaces in the pollen filter box and on the evaporator.

What the gui-lab label says

With the use of airco well®, gui-lab confirms that it has achieved “air conditioning cleaning in accordance with VDI 6032”.

With regard to the documented requirements in VDI guideline 6032, the hygiene result and the promise to the customer according to gui-lab are achieved: by cleaning both components and changing the pollen filter at the same time. In addition, a cleaning interval of 24 months must be observed.
