Systematic safety
April 28, 2009, 07:37 PM
Our Oberlichtenau works has been awarded the "systematic safety" kitemark by the German chemical industry employers' liabilityinsurance association. Occupational health and safety organisation at the works was classified by the association as "very good". "What most impressed was that occupational safety concerns were known to all the staff and were a fixed part of their daily routine," said the association's auditor and technical supervision officer Dr. Graf. The works subjected itself, after appropriate preparation, to an audit of its occupational safety management in the first quarter of 2009 as part of a national campaign by the association. The positive audit resulted in the award of the kitemark for three years. Occupational health and safety benefits everyone in the long term! We want to maintain this standard develop further improvements.
