TUNAP is official member of the Bavarian Environmental pact
August 01, 2007, 07:25 AM
Since 2 August 2007 TUNAP Wolfratshausen has been anofficial participant in the Bavarian Environment Pact.
What is the Bavarian Environmental Pact?
It is a voluntary agreement between the Bavarian provincial government and Bavarian industry in which both obligate themselves to render goods and services beneficial to the environment.
The Pact has a voluntary, selfresponsible and cooperative basis. Bavaria's provincial government and industry expressly declare in this Pact their conviction that the natural foundations of life can be better protected by voluntary and reliable cooperation between state and industry than with laws and regulations alone.
The pact is universal, i.e. industry, trade and commerce are all equally involved. The pact defines clear promises and projects. Working forums were set up by it in some fields that consist of industry and state representatives. These bodies deal with open questions and resolve to undertake further projects where appropriate.
